Hops for Homes Beer Festival

Join us for our first Hops for Homes Beer Festival celebrating Chester County craft breweries.

Build a House...Build a Dream

During this annual contest, 5th graders from across the Delaware Valley area are invited to build and submit a model dream home to a contest of their peers in the Spring.

Driving to Build Strength Stability and Shelter Golf Outing

Every fall, HfHCC hosts golfers from across the area out for a day on the links. Registration for the event goes directly to funding our mission of building affordable housing in Chester County.

Building a Thirst Fundraiser

We partner with Chester County craft breweries to create the Building a Thirst Beer Ticket Book. Each book contains a ticket for a pint at each participating brewery. 2022 will bring our first Hops for Homes Beer Festival, also supporting our mission!

Featured Donor

As a membership organization of Christians, part of Thrivent’s mission is to care for others. Similarly, Habitat seeks to work with organizations that share its values and want to help eliminate poverty housing. A home is the biggest financial asset most families own and it’s a key ingredient to achieving economic independence. Helping families build decent, affordable housing is a demonstration of the organizations’ values.

Mark your calendars! Our 20th Annual Build A House Event is Saturday, March 11th, 2023! 🏠

In this competition, students work individually or in teams to build their own three-dimensional model dream home, which they then bring on the day of the contest for judging by professional architects, engineers, and builders. Over the years, houses have been fashioned from recycled materials, tree trunks, pencils, and pasta.

During our 2022 event, 70 local 5th graders from over 15 different schools presented their dream homes! Our panel of judges from local architectural and construction firms were very impressed by the student’s designs.
